I want to take me niece and nephew to the zoo this sunday and was wondering if anything is open there yet or is it just the indoor stuff. I have no problem showing them the rain forest and such just but just wanted to know if anyone has been there recently.
Thanks
Feel free to delete this if its not ok.

We will be at the zoo for our meeting tomorrow night. I usually see George who works at the zoo so I can ask him and then post here if you can wait until Saturday for your answer. If not, just give them a call at (216) 661-6500

A bit OT on the OT... BUT if the zoo does not work out for some reason and you are looking for something really cool that you do not see every day, the Orchid Show at the Botanical garden in University Circle is spectacular. TAKE A CAMERA!!!

oh that does sound exciting. Thank you. I might take my girlfriend to that seeing that shes coming into town tomorrow
thanks stan.

The zoo has outdoor exhibits still. The lions, tigers, and bears are all out! Soem thins are harder to see like the kangaroos and such, but the zoo is still very active. Enjoy it.

The "off season" is the best time to visit the zoo. The animals are most often more active in the cool weather and there are much shorter lines or few people to look over.

My wife and kids hit the Toledo zoo last October (or there abouts) and said everything was far better than any summer day we ever hit.
