Anyone keep a gold assessor basslet? They are pricey but pretty bright yellow fish. I have a bit of difficulty with Peteducation.com describing them as "peaceful" but also aggressive and territorial--unless the aggression is directed only toward like species...
I took this directly from Scott Michaels Marine Fishes.
"This is a lovely fish, ideal for the new marine aquarist and a great species for the reef tank. Disease resistant and completely uninterested in ornamental invertebrates. A peaceful fish that is a likely target of aggression if kept with overly boisterous species. Its smaller size makes it vulnerable to many piscivorouse fishes."
I keep a Marine Betta in my 75 reef and he has been a very good fish. He never picks on my smaller fish and he even leaves my shrimp alone. If you have the chance to get a Yellow Assessor I say go for it. It would make a nice addition to your tank.
