This is my first birdsnest sps. Bought it from my lfs after eyeing it for the past few months. I'm concerned about white areas on a few of the stalks and one tip looks bare like the skin and polyps may have been pushed back. Perhaps this was due to transport? Reading that seriatopora coral doesn't encrust do you think I should snip the tip? The white areas on the stalks don't show peeling like rtn but there's no polyps on those areas. Coral was under mh lighting and looked awesome at the lfs. Pictures are today after I just added it to my led lit tank. Any advice would be appreciated for this seriatopora newb.
