source for tank?

I'm in NE PA, just south of binghamton...

in a couple of months, as the house nears completion, I will be looking to order an approx 400 tank (something around 96x36x27-30)

what is a good (local??) source for a tank? if not local, then where?

moved here from the west coast a while back and am not familiar with area suppliers.

btw, probably glass, but maybe acrylic.

Welcome to STRS byron. Not sure if you are set in stone on the size or intressted in used but there are a couple of good sized ones at the bottom of this thread. Other than that ABC in syrcause could help you out. Not sure about here local though.

Dave, thanks for the reply...

We are looking for something in 375-450 range...

Are considering dimensions to be slightly longer maybe and lower -- the lower part to make it easier to access the inside and wont have to drive lighting so deep. Up to 120 long maybe -- looking to have it take up most of a wall. Maybe 108-120x30-36x24... exact dimensions not set in stone.

Current plan is not to mount in wall because Renee wants to be able to see into the sides as well -- all equipment will be plumbed into room behind.
