southdown sand issues

Does anyone else have issues with southdown sand getting kicked up and causing particles to stay suspended in the water column?

I am seriously considering another type of sand at this point. Is there any solution to this problem before I make drastic changes like removing the sand and adding a different type, or ever going BB..

Can anyone help a brotha out?

How long has it been set up? My sand barely moves and drops like a rock.

about 2 months with about 200lbs or established live rock.

Give it a few more months to really get coated well with bacteria and it will settle right away. When I disturb mine it riles up for a matter of minutes is all and drops right back down.
