Does anyone need sand for their tank? I found some at a hardware store in Arkansas that says they will ship. If I order more than 3 bags the shipping goes way down. I think this is right anyways. When I added 3 bags with shipping it was over $79. When i did it with 4 bags it changed to standard shipping and only cost $25. Please check this out maybe im doing something wrong. If not i will be ordering some so if you need some we can make one order. Here is the link

I did the leg work for Home Depot and finally found a store that had some. Then I called my local Home Depot and asked if they would have it transferred from that store to here (Hickory Hollow) and they did. No charge. I paid regular price for the sand. (6 bags)

Looking back at my old post from Reef Aquarium Guide, I found it at a Home Depot in Lexington, KY. The Home Depot SKU # 578-819.

The Lexington Home Depot is the one on Richmond Road. (859) 269-4774

And the girl at the Hickory Hollow Home Depot is Christina. This was three years ago, but she still works there because I see her every now and then when I go in there. The number to that location is (615) 731-2900.

There....just did the leg work for you. :D

did you check out the link i want to make sure the shipping is right and ill order from there but sounds to good to be true

go to reef discussions and look under lowes play sand there is a link dont know why mine wont work sorry

silica based sand feeds algae. Southdown is aragonite. I've got 5 bags of Southdown upstairs, but I was planning to use it in a future 75g tank....althought that's going to be quite some time from now.
