southdown?

does anyone use southdown sand for their dsb anymore?
and can you mix it with live sand?

I used it for my 175 and the results were awesome. No problems in 3 years. I have some extra bags left over and will use it or the black sand for my new Nano that I'm starting. The only reason I may switch for my NANO is solely for the cool look only.

so you mixed yours? how much southdown, and how much live sand, 50/50 or more or less. thanks for the reply.
