Spaghetti worm, yes? good or baaaaaad...

I was doing routine tank maintenance and pulled this guy out of the sand bed. He is currently in a jar in the sump. The Spaghetti worms I could find when "googled" are not red...so can anyone tell whether or not I should pull him out?

This is a cirratulid, a hair worm. They are deposit feeders & beneficial members of any clean up crew.

Thank you so much LeslieH!! I figured after I found the right website. I let him go back in the DT and have been watching. How fascinating!! I took pics of his journey and he is really interesting! I am so glad he is beneficial! I found a website where they are tracking it and trying to propagate them....Hmmmm...maybe I am on to something ;-)
