Well... where do I start? My name is Anthony, I am eighteen, and I live in Madrid (Spain) For me, it's an honor to share my passion for reef aquariums with you all. Six years ago, I was introduced to this hobby with my father and we started with a little 10 gallon project. Actually I have a 540l reef aquarium but due to a horrible disaster during my vacation, when I lost all my corals and invertebrates, I haven´t many pieces. Finally I find myself forced to say you that I am obsesed with SPS.
My actual project has 540L or 145 gallons with this profile:
"¢ Display tank: 540L
"¢ Sump:* 220L with
"¢ Skimmer:*Royal Exclusiv Mini 200
"¢ Lighting:* ATI PowerModdule 8x80 With 3 Blue Plus, 3 Aquablue Special and 2 Actinic
"¢ Circulation:*Vortech MP40 and Vortech MP10
"¢ Calcium Reactor:* Bubble Magus C-120 (ARM)
Photoperiod: actinics on 9 hours a day and 6 bulbs on 7 hours a day
"¢ System filtration: zeo-reactor with 400 gr of zeolits and *in addition, once a month I refill a bag with 400mL of KZ carbon.
"¢ Controller: Profilux Plus II
And my water Parameters:
Specific gravity:*1.026
Calcium:*430 ppm* (Hanna)
Alkalinity:*9 dKH* (Salifert)
Magnesium:*1400 ppm* (Salifert)
Temperature:*25 - 26° C
Phoshates:*0.03 ppm (Hanna)
Nitrates:*undetectable (Salifert)
*I try to do a water change every two weeks, roughly 10-15% of the total water volume with KZ salt.
At this moment I am trying to find a new aquascaping becasuse the actual is horrible...
