Well I wanted to share some recent photos of my 75g reef tank. I started this tank about two years ago which was a transfer from a 46 bow front. The bow front became way too crowded so I went what would fit in my living room without intrusion.

Specs:
75g AGA RR
30g Oceanic Sump
48” NEP T-5 Fixture (All bulbs replaced with higher end bulbs of course)
MRC1 Protein Skimmer
Reef Keeper Two Controller
Calcium Reactor
Vortech Power head
1 Korilla 3 timed for one minute on 5 minutes off to kick some extra detris.
Auto Top off RO only.

I do weekly 7 gallon water changes on this tank with a mix of reef crystals and tropic marin salt mixed 50/50.
I have been dosing Prodibio BioDigest and Bioptim for about two months now faithfully.
I dose daily 3 drops of Zeo supplements: Sponge Power, Coral Vitalizer and Zeo Ammino’s.
I feed once a day and alternate between Spectrum flakes and home made food.

Some shots of the tank.

These are true colors from looking down at the tank. It’s amazing the colors the T5’s produce!!!!! But then again, the top downs are the best!!!!

Critique away and please feel free to ask any questions.
Thanks
Spankey!

The real kicker is it's hard to believe but a month and half ago I almost lost this tank fully. Every coral you see in the photos were nearly bleached and have recovered two fold!

Amazing!

I am actually ashamed to post this but to give everyone an idea, this is what my tank looked like two months ago when it partially crashed. Allot of hard work and attention made it come around again!

Two months ago.

LOL OH, didn't get that one. I use a Nikon D40 with the stock kit lense. Tripod of course and a wireless remote shutter release to kill any camera shake.....

Nick,

The tank got electrocuted. My Aqua Medic dosing pump after being in the same place for a year decided one day to fall off the mount and land in the sump. The GFI never tripped????? Aqua Medic had no clue what happened but offered to sell me a new pump at cost!!!! What a deal I must say. N O T !!!!!!!

how do you like the vortech? I'm building a 75g now and am really considering the same setup you have. beautiful tank! If mine looks have that good I'll be happy with it!

looking awesome. but what bulbs did you end up going with??

debating about buying another NEP for my 60 or just buying another TEK

i have the 20" NEP and i hate how there is no bulb support for it

I went with ATI, ULV and KZ bulbs. Much better than the stock current ones and my colors are awesome and deep.

I would suggest this fixture to most people. With a bulb change of course.

Just wanted to show some updated photos of some corals since posting the starting photos....
