LOL thanks Johnnie... I appreciate it but again it takes time. I have had this tank set up now going on two years and I am still tweaking it or changing something. I need to get my frag racks clear so I can get them out and take another photo....
very nice tank , corals and pics.. did you have to make a camera box for those top down shots? I have a NEP and know there is not much room from the surface of the water to the fixture during top down time...
roktsintst- Ya know I really don't remember? I know I messed with the exposure and shutter speed was I think in the 20's? I am shooting a Nikon D40 if that helps. I just kept snapping and adjusting until I thought I could see the coral. Even then you can't get the true look without it being so blue you can't see a thing......
DML08, NO camera box on the top downs. I would just move my fixture from front to back and get up on a chair and then get my lens as close to the water as possible. I know it's a gamble as any fish could splash and the camera will then be NO More!!!! But it works.... I would eventually like to get a camera box for sure.
OK last round of photos. Still working on the FTS as I am getting another camera and think it will shoot even better......
Fish,
Two of the meanest Clarki Clowns Ever. When I am in the tank they actually nip on the inside of my forearm that they draw blood at times. Dang sharks.....
