Spearer

Anyone know where I can get a spearer? I love my male peacock so much I want to move him to a larger tank and get maybe a spearer for my 6gal nano.

Spearers seem to be less commonly found than the smashers. Took me a while to find someone ready to get rid of theirs...

I traded one my mantis for one lol. I looked for 6 months and then traded a mantis thats rare in the trade for a P. cilita lol. the mantis was an female Odontodactylus latirostris.

Spearers seem to be more common in West Coast stores for some reason. Majestic is Crazy... I'd never trade my O latirostris, she is my favorite.

I've been looking for a mantis for 2 years almost got one last week if I would have been at the lfs an hour earlier

I live in Southen California and it took me about a week before I found one. I had to call about every fish stone in the area, had to drive about 60 miles to get him though.

Considering I've never even SEEN a mantis for sale at an LFS, and I HAVE to drive 40 miles to get to one, I'd say you're sitting pretty there in Cali despite your week [ha] wait
