Just pick up 2 tunze 6100 from Chaffey this morning. The pump is in NEW condition. I try to take it apart to clean and there is nothing to clean. Just a few spot of algea but it come right off. This is the newer model with 1 piece impeller. If i have the money i will pick up the other two along with the multi controller as you know Tunze 6100 normally go for 300bucks use.

I hook up the pumps this morning and set it on Interval 1, this two pumps plus my 2x6200 does kick some butt. Interval I work great for my tank.

Well. I am hoping to get a used pair of 6100 and a controller. For cost effective, I think it would be cheaper for you if we proceed as dicussed before. Have you gotten the bayonet coupling yet? I have a 1/2hp in line Aquanetic chiller to trade, do you need one for your 180?
