Spectrapure RO giving 012

I just purchased a used spectrapure RODI 90gpd the input water has 065 and output water showing 012. How long can I proceed with this RODI without changing the filters.

In which value should I change the filters.

What I can do just replace the prefilter and carbon filter. then after 1yr I can replace all together? I just need 5 gallon of water every two week.

If the TDS of the input water is only 65 then you should have post RO of no more than 3 and no more than 0 post DI.

If this is a brand new system then there is a problem as I think you are saying the TDS of the final (post DI) water is 12 and that is totally unacceptable.

As I mentioned, its not new system, I have purchased it as USED one.

I just flushed a lots of water around 18gal as its used one. So now the TDS came down to 005 post DI.

the di is shot for sure. my guess is replace all the cartridges and ro membrane. 5 tds could be ok to use depending exactly what the 5 ppm is...if it's copper... you have enough to kill the tank 100 times over....

Thanks All for you suggestions, I have purchased the BRS 4 stage replacement kit. Hopefully will change soon.
