Spectrapure RO question

I am thinking about getting a Spectrapure RODI system and have a couple questions for those of you have one. It says in their manual not to put it an any area where the temp exceeds 100°F. Unfortunately, the only place I can put it is in the garage, which does get hot during the summer. It is the only place where I have power, water source, room for a collection container, and place to get rid of the waste water. I'm currently using well water so there is no chlorine or fluoride, but I still want to clean it up better.

Do any of you have one in the garage or area where it does get above 100°?

Also, what type of fitting does it use for the water that goes into it?

I have my RODI system in the garage where it can get very hot. I think a lot of people have it in their garage. It has worked well for me.

I have a SectraPure max cap RO/DI. I've kept it in the garage since late 06 and have had no problem w/ heat.

I use a garden hose fitting to feed the RO.

Thanks! I am probably going to go with the Maxcap or Spectraplus, and probably have it produce into one of those 50gal rubbermaid trashcans with float valve.
