I paid for a speedwave 10000[paypal] a month ago
was told that they were on a pallet due in a week 2 weeks
ago.
Got a email fri that they are shipping in a month,
What in the world gives......are these discontinued..
Sent email asking if these are discontinued was told
no that they were a month out.
Alot of chatter that all of the DC pumps that are 1st
GEN are not made any more that the manufacturer only
producing the 2nd GEN.
Got to believe the dc pumps coming in a month are 2gen.
The price for the 1st gen is there best selling point i hope
they will still be made.....

Not sure what's going on, but in the future I'd pay with a CC instead of PP. PP automatically deducts the funds, leaving the vendor unable to postpone the charge. If you paid with a CC, Premium would not charge you until the product was billed and shipped, if I understand it correctly.

Next time i will call first to check stock.
The pump is still on PA site with nothing
that shows it out of stock.
Wonder how up to date the website is.

Hi Steve, sorry for the inconvenience with the backorders on these. Our next shipment of SpeedWave pumps will be arriving in here on Friday. Our last shipment arrived in here about two weeks ago, but they all 12 of the 10000 that came in went right back out the door. The 10000 has not been discontinued, nor has the 3000 and 5000. There will be a 6000 and 12000 coming, but these are not replacing any models.

The reason we do not mark these out of stock online is that it's such a popular product that a lot of times the only way to get it is to place an order and wait. The majority of our customers want to place their order to reserve their spot in line so they are guaranteed the product when it arrives. We always contact immediately when something is out of stock though, and we can always do a refund immediately via Paypal if you'd like to purchase elsewhere.

Again, sorry for the wait on these, please let me know if there is anything I can do to help out.

Since we are talking about the SpeedWave pumps, Jeremy, can you tell me if the DC-5000 is in stock? And also, is this the model that has the outlet thread problem? Or has that been fixed?

Come to find out the threads on these pumps were never intended to be NPT fittings here in the US, but rather made for the fittings that the pumps come with. We've found out that there are some variances in the fittings though, and some are able to get an NPT fitting on, but you could experience a little bit of leaking with it if ran externally. If running internally this really isn't an issue at all. If you are going to run external I would suggest using the barb fittings they come with to ensure everything seals up properly.

I recieved my pump today looks great.
The output threads are very robust very well
built i was a little surprised after all the fuss
about it.
If i would of been told that i was on a waiting list
then i would of understood the strange run around i got
from the emails.
This forum helped clear up what was going on.....thanks
