If you think it is a bacterial problem, the O3 can work?

If you have a small pump zip tie it to a cleaner or scrapper and blow it off the coral.
Take pliers and break the tubes off at the base and pull them out with the snail inside them. I had hundreds and most are gone now. To me it seems like they thrive in dirty water but not sure if thats true.

My 180 gallon tank only had it on the corals. Was vermited snails.
If you say its not then I have no clue what else release the spider webs beside them.

That's what I suggested but they are saying no. So I am at a loss but my suggestion to get them blown off the corals is still valid I think.
I really apreciate your suggestions, this is the reason of the post.

I had vermetid snails, the really really large ones, in my tank and their slime-nets looked nothing like what is shown in those pictures. The whole way those nets over those corals look like - precisely like those unruly spider webs you see covering bushes in the fall - doesn't fit vermetid snails.
You might want to check Google scholar if there are articles about something that fits these nets. I found that there are lots of studies done on coral pests and diseases. The only tricky thing with Google scholar is to pick the right key words to find what you are looking for.

Structural deformation of branching corals associated with the vermetid gastropod Dendropoma maxima
The pictures in this research article look similar to the ones above.
It seems there is a somewhat natural way to protect the corals:
Guard crabs alleviate deleterious effects of vermetid snails on a branching coral
And it seems there is another snail that preys on them: Death and life: Muricid snails consume the vermetid gastropod, Dendropoma maximum, and use empty shells for reproduction

I’m lucky. I have a few big ones. I use a Salifert tritiation 1ml syringe to inject H2O2 12% in to their opening... they die.

I've done as much as 2ml/gal of tank volume with now ill effects. I inject it into the mat and base of the thick turf algae I am so good at growing. 12% H2O2 takes no prisoners.
