Spirorbid Worms

I have some of these that I think are spirorbid. What are they and are they safe to have ?

Type of filter feeding worm that lives in a small curled calcerous tube.
They are harmless

they are harmless......... I have some in my 120 FOWLR tank . had a LOT of them in 55 g REEF They dissapeared all of a sudden. Not a problem at all
are you using tap water?

No I am using RO Water.

Why are they harmless ?
What can do such a small worm ?

I think they have been introduced with the Live Sand

Harmless because they dont do any harm to your tank

they are great filter feeders. they will filter your water, and remove little particles of food, detritus, etc.. they are just another one of those neat little creatures of the sea.
