Splendid Dottyback

Anybody have experience with the splendid dottyback. I am concerned about their "semi-aggressive" nature. Do they eat snails and crabs or just shrimp and worms? Let me know what you think of them in your tank. Please mention the size of your tank and inhabitants. Thanks everybody!

I've had one for ~ 8 weeks. Eat a Court Jester Gody the first night in QT, my mistake. Hasn't eaten the Catalina Goby yet, I kept them apart in the QT and let them both loose in the DT (180g) with lots of live rock.

Nice fish, just will eat anything it can get in its mouth I think.

Had 1 for over 2 years w/ 2 occ clowns and pistol shrimp, some hermits and we nicknamed him "hidey fish" he was out often but always went into the rocks any time we went near the tank,Really had no issues with him.Traded him a year ago and he was about 3" long.

Good to know... thank! I think that I will pass on him until the 180 gallon is set up. He would kill most of my reef fish in the 72 gallon.
