Sponge for QT okay?

My hydro sponge filter has been in my sump for about a month. I was planning on putting in my quarantine tank today. Today when I woke up I found that my air pump had stopped working. Before I went to sleep it was working. So the sponge filter got no air for about 6 hours. I wanted to know if the lack of air for 6 hours will have a negative effect on the Aerobic bacteria that has been built up on the sponge?

I would think there should be plenty of oxygen for that bacteria. You have the sump connected to the dt and water is flowing between them right? The action of the water falling into the sump from the dt will generate a good amount.
