Anyone read Steve Tyree's books?
He had a pretty out of the box idea of sponges as nutrient export. Its not as effecient as a skimmer or a refugium but I actualy like collecting sponges and have tons through out my display and refugium. I plan on collecting as many as possible and jam packing a spare 20 gallon tank that plumbed into my sytem as a frag tank (ohwell). I dont expect to see big results but sponges are one of my favorite things anyways and I would still collect them even if they didnt help water quality
