Spontaneous starfish?
My tank is, by anyone's definition, well established. Includind sumps and supporting devices the system clocks in at about 630 gallons. it contains 15-20 species of coral (mostly softies) 6 large Tangs, a copperband, a pair of Clarkiis (one of which hosts a ricordia), and various inverts.
I've added nothing new to the tank in 8 months but in the last three weeks i seem to have acquired 2 dozen new residents, all quadripod tan colored starfish.
Where'd they come from?
