sporadic RTN and STN poping up

checked alk and calcium last night now im at

alk 11 1/2
calcium 420

hope fluctuations like this dont kill stuff

ALK swings IMO most definately will. You found your problems thats for sure. I battled the same thing when my effluent of my Ca reactor got mildly clogged and let my alk slip for almost a month. My SPS paid the price for it. One by one they started to STN from the base and work their way up. ALK is back up and are recovering nicely.

I fragged every single one that showed signs of STN. The one I didn't, died.

I better get choping tonight. I figured if alk was back up it would stop the coral freom decling more. Hate chopping as they usto be encrusted ll over the rocks but aint looking good

Shhh did a water change yesterday woke up to whited out ORA blue jack RTNed fried, and and now my stawberry patch monti had a thumb nail white spot in the center gained a 1/2 more of death first NON acro to rtn
