How often do you spot feed your corals (lps)?

Whenever I see a little starfish crawling around my tank I will toss it in a mouth, otherwise once a week I give each head a mysis shrimp, can take a long time if you have lot of heads to feed, but I see a real difference in growth if I dont feed.

Does it also affect color as well as growth?

Brains, sun coral, blasto merletti - 2 times a week, trying to keep this schedule. Hammers, frogspawns - never, but the tank is well fed. Candy cane - sometimes.

i try to feed a couple times a month. i also notice better growth when feeding.

There are certain corals that do require spot feeding, Fungia for one. However, others really do not and in some cases may be detrimental. What LPS corals do you have?

Most LPS corals will grow much faster if you feed them. I like to feed the majority of LPS corals mysis/very finely cut silvrsides/etc 2-3 times a week.

I feed the dendros every day

the Everything else, I feed 3x a week or so.
