spots on fish

hi guys. i have a weird situation with one of my clown fish. on my orange clown over the last day two spots have appeared. one on each side towards the bottom of their body by there tail. the spots are black, one little darker than the other. is this bad? all the levels in the tank are good including the salinity. im not sure if this is just the fish getting older or some sort of sickness..
very lost on this one can someone help me out?

do you have corals in the tank?

If you do have corals then this is most likely coral stings which discolored the scales. They will go away in time.
