I gave the first bath in freshwater on the 25th and did the first treatment of prazipro.the first bath cleared him up and that bath was for around 3 minutes.I changed half the water yesterday and did another treatment of prazipro and started the cupermine treatment. I tried to give him another bath in freshwater but 30 seconds in he started to lay on his side so I put him back in the tank. And none of the stuff came off him this time.so I am afraid to give him another bath considering he is breathing fast.

What are you treating? I can't tell from the pics, but copper and prazipro treat different things and I wouldn't combine them; you may be making things worse.

I treated him for flukes in the beginning and now for possibly ick. My previous thread had more details about this problem , but it's gone.I don't know where that thread went.but several people on that thread said it's safe to use both meds at the same time .

I wish I could get better pics of the fish but it's just not happening. The spots are a translucent bump.I'm doubting it's still flukes because they should be dead from the prazipro. Other than the rapid breathing my fish seems to be acting normal. He eats like a pig and swims around the tank. Does it take a few days for the meds to kill the parasites? Or should they die off in a short amount of time ?

Prazi-Pro says their product isn't as effective when used with copper---its safe, though. FW baths do nothing for ich. If using PP, there is no reason for FW baths.

Ive had flukes stay on for over a week while using prozi pro. Every fluke is different I'm sure. I haven't fresh water dipped or bath'd a fish in 6 years. Its pointless when using a qt IMO.
