spotted jawfish compatability with gobys

The tang showing more subdued behavior/colors would be a definite sign. It would likely be showing distress at some point. A simple size comparison should also point it out. Also, crowded tangs tend to get really aggressive, don't they?
That's another point. Crowded tangs get MEAN.
 
Thanks for the advice but it is not "necessary" yet so i will not upgrade or take back yet.
To answer you "curiosity" Snorvich I would know based on the fish behavior/ interaction with other fish, overall look of the fish, and the obvious, not enough space to swim openly/ through my rockwork.
 
Thats all i needed to know. Thanks eveyone who simply provided information about goby/jawfish question and not questioning other subjects.
 
When you post on a open forum you can expect others to share their opinions especially on such a tender subject as the ABUSE of tangs. If you didn't want to be a responsible aquarist and take the tang back so he can live a happy life then don't post about the fact that you have him on an open forum
