I currently have a biocube 29 set up to temporarily hold my fish until I get my 175 setup. Right now I have two clowns, a midas blenny, and a blue/green chromis. I was wondering if I could keep a blue spotted puffer in this tank until I get my new tank setup? They will only be in there for ~2-3 more months which is when I plan to start adding fish. I do 20% water changes twice a week. I run carbon, gfo, and biopellets. I also have some sps and zoas. I do not have any shrimp but I am willing to give up some snails/hermits for this fish. Once the 175 is set up he will be going into the 60 gallon cube display refugium.
We do not get these puffers very often in my area so I would like to pick him up as soon as possible.
