hey all i need to do some plumbing upgrades and i was curious what kind of spray paint is reefsafe to use on the pvc? I know theres a few kinds availible i also want to build a fuge and plumb it in dont really know anyone in the hobby in rl so any help would be greatly appreciated.

You want to paint the outside of the PVC? Will it be in contact with the water?

Krylon Fusion brand spraypaint will work on plastics and glass. I have heard (emphasis on never tried it myself) that this paint is safe in saltwater if you let it cure for a while and then rinse it in saltwater for a while.

Aquaticecosystems.com carries a couple different colors of paint made specifically for use in saltwater. I think it's made by Sweetwater.

yes, i used it for pvc in the tank and i had hook on back overflows and always painted the part that goes in the tank with this paint

FYI, I would rough up the PVC a bit with sandpaper. I used it (Krylon fusion) and didn't have a problem with it but my snails were able to scrape some of it off. No bit deal through because soon it was covered by coralline. The other option is to use primer to rough it up and it would darken it some also.
