Spring Break 06

Trottman,

You can always be old and go after younger chicks but you only get a window of time to spend quality time with Mrs. Robinson. Unless you are 40 and you like Mrs. Robinsons GRANDmother.

When you get older you actually dread spring break because the kids are home, more noise, more open palms wanting painted so they can do stuff.

I'm going to Ft. Lauderdale next Friday for spring break. Just because I'm old (46) doesn't mean I'm dead!

And having grown up and lived there for 40 years doesn't hurt either.

Of course, I'm bringing the wife and kids. . .

Zebadiah....uh...I meant Letmegrow has 6 wives at home- He doesn't need spring break...He goes home to it every afternoon! :p

I think the only reason spring break exists is for young kids to go to a place where they can drink themselves stupid legally and bump nekkid with anyone and everyone in the process. The only difference between that and most of our married lives is that we don't want to bump nekkid anymore...

I'm going to Italy--Rome, Pompei, Venice, and Florence in 9 days-- with a bunch of 7th graders, a few of their parents, a couple of their teachers, and my immediate family.

I am really looking forward to it.

Be prepared for the most incredible dining experience of your life...I lived there for 3 months and gained 27 lbs in the process!!

You guys should go down to UMR for the St Pat's celebration.
While I'm a grad student and really need to be working in teh lab (and I am) during our 2 days off for St. Pats, I just got back from a nice party and getting drunk.... Thank god st. pats is the patron st. of engineers and we have capitalized on it for an excuse to drink for 2 or so days straight.

.... and since when did high school have spring break?

I'm taking a 1/2 day today, that is what I consider a spring break for a soon to be 40 year old :bum:

What I want to know is if any hot moms of the kids at the party!

Roy... Right there with you...

Getting old stinks - a few years ago I offered to relieve my wife for the last two hours of concession duty at my daughter's ball field. I stopped by and she had a gorgeous 22 year old blond helping her so I figured what the heck! I had never felt so old. It turns out that a 40 year old family man sporting a spare tire and a hot little 22 year old blond have absolutely nothing in common. We just sat there for two hours without a thing to say. It's very depressing when you suddenly realize that you are an old fart and you never saw it coming!

This is my first year out of college and no spring break...It really isn't a big deal or anything. Hell, when i was in High school and college I simply worked fulltime over spring break and summer. So I don't mind it now, because I am making money. On my days I go in later for work, I just party the night before. Being 20, I can get by no problem with just 5 hours of sleep (I know it won't last forever).
