Thx guys. Ok. The black part is the fiber glass back wall. It comes in 4 pieces and is not fully built yet. The acrylic Window is the 3 side piece with paper on it. Its gets bonded to the black fiberglass. We will take pics as it comes together.

The one piece of clear glass is for the 3500 gallon tank which has its own black fiberglass back.

How thick is the fiberglass? Does it have a different core or is it solid fiberglass? Is this fiberglass frame from one of those large tank-building companies? I am very interested in this material but don't have much information on it, like what it's capacities are, etc.

Dave. The fiberglass frame in smaller tank is solid fiberglass 1 inch thick. And one inch starfire glass gets bonded. The bigger tank is 6 inch fiberglass with a center core. So it's not solid through. Honey comb center.
