I have a brown arco and it is losing its skin on one branch. The rest of the coral is doing fine. Good polyp extension and everything. What dso you think might be wrong Thanks

the possibilities and endless... seriously, my friend. I'd be re-inventing the wheel here writing pages and pages at length speculating even if you provided history on the animal and tank (age, feeding, lighting, housing, potential aggression from other cnidarians in the tank, etc).

My advice is to do some strategic keyword/-phrase searches here in the archives for "tissue recession" and the like. You will learn much more in the journey even if you do not find an exact answer.

While at it... please also read and appreciate (if not apply!) proper quarantine here. It is critical for all aquarists to understand and apply QT if you want to succeed long term.
