is a nitrate of 20 ppm to high to keep sps corals kinda new to keeping corals but i have a 125 gallon with a 45 sump and was wondering how high the nitrate levels can be for ur corals to be ok any advice will be greatly appreciated

My nitrate has been 40-50 for about 10 months. Acros and milles still have nice colors, but no growth. Some frags died off with this level as well. I think less than 10 is best for most SPS corals.

are u guys using salifert test kit ?

With measuring high levels, Salifert is good. For lower levels, less than 40 down to zero, I like Lamotte and have used it for about 10 years now.
