SPS and no fish

Due to an extreme outbreak of ich, I've had to remove all my fish and put them in qt. During the 2-3month fallow time, what should I put in the tank for the SPS? Should I continue to feed cyclopeze or buy some sort of AA additive?

You could do some Amino Acids. That might be good, but beyond that I think you'll be find for 2-3 months.

Just pretend your fish are there and dump some flake food.

I know it's an old thread but just curious if you noticed any change in growth rate or color during that time?

I am in a similar situation to the OP. I have been using Aquavitro fuel for about a month now. No difference in color or growth rate from what I can tell.

You could add some NPS so you have to put some food in the tank.

Sorry, guys, I didn't realize this thread had been resurrected! I fed flakes every couple days and never noticed any negative effects on the corals. The tank went through major trauma when I moved (movers packed everything in the wrong part of the truck, and things got cooked). All the fish survived, but the coral ended up dying off after a year battle w bryopsis, so I sold everything and slowly putting together a 40br.
