SPS and PC's

Has anyone had any luck keeping SPS with PC's. I have many different LPS that have done great. Any SPS that I get would be 6 inches from the PC's. What do you think?

I don't think PC's will cut it. I have 2x150 watt mh with 2x96 watt pc actinics and I keep my sps 3inches below the water surface. You can keep some sps like montipora caps. Acroporas and other high light sps you would not be able to keep.

I guess it depends how many PC's, if you had a 40 gallon breeder with 4*96W Pc's on good reflectors you would be ok.

What is your lighting setup like?

I have 10 65watt lamps of varying colors over a 75gal and have many sps throughout the tank. A crocea and a maxima clam. All grow, all are colorful. But saying this I have 2 250watt ballasts new in box, just waiting for me to have time to set them up. My sps have been under pc for about 1.5 years. I find I stay on top of water quality and that helps with my tank.
