Really, you had to have a metal halide? Some of my other SPS are growing very fast. My Millis and Montis are growing expecially fast.

Im not playing around this time around, i know what leds can do..... ill leave it at that.

I remember a friend and i placing a hawkins in the tank the same level at the same time. he was running a 150w 14k phoenix and me with my photon. i came to check back in 2 months on his tank and it was so big and the colors were so perfect that i thought he must have been cheating. while mine grew about half a inch his easily grew 2 inchs+ it was crazy.

So we had another test come back in a month to see what they looked like since the adaptation of the leds takes longer. Mine grew about a 1/4 inch and his a full inch..... our water parameters were the same and tank temp. we had the same equipment except for lighting.

Ok, I see what you're saying. Metal halides are great, I just hate the heat and power consumption.
