sps book

Get Veron 'Corals of the World' its a 3 volumes hard cover books.
I believe that is the most comprehensive book you ever find on all corals not only SPS.

Yup, the Vernon books are awesome, worth the price.

Eric Borneman has a good book as well Id'ing lots of corals, sps, lps, etc. , Aquarium Corals : Selection, Husbandry, and Natural History by Eric H. Borneman and J. E. N. Veron.

Excellent for a broad sps ID book. If you want a true ID book for acroporas though, it's a bit weak compaired to:

"Staghorn Corasl of the World - A Revision of the genus Acropora" by Carden Wallace.
