Looks like brown jelly on one of my sps. should I toss it asap. is it contagious

Alk 7.7 cal 419 mag 1300 (a little low) po4 0.04 via hanna sg 1.025. I have measurable no3 but not any higher than previous. this stuff is gelatinous

This is happening to my ORA green birdsnest. Same situation not sure what to do or what caused it. Other SPS are fine.

looks like there is some rtn, birdsnest are the first to start, that colony might be toast, I haven't seen that slime before, is it on anything else

Not on anything else. that colony did fall in the last week. I had to re glue it and definitely caused damage when it fell. I don't remember what coral it fell on. nothing else has it and I hope it stays that way.
