Sps coral placement

Can someone pls tell me how to know if my red planet sps is or isn't getting enough light? I put it mid depth but want to be able to figure out what the optimal depth would be. What do I look for in the coral to figure this out? Thanks

If its not growing move it up. If it looks healthy and is growing good leave it be. As long as your lights are strong enough it should be fine

Cool thing about red planet at least my experience is the more light it gets the reder it gets the less light it gets it will start to get a green base

would need more information
what light setup do you have ?
what depth are they at?
how much flow are they getting?
as Nastyz said,, they will be more "green" in lower light placement and more "red" in higher intense lighting placement.
to add+ they should be in a high flow area
and moderate to high lighting.
do you have hot pink tips? if not try to move it to receive more light - hope this helps

Need much more info to provide an accurate answer, but as already mentioned... Red Planets typically color up darker with a green base in moderate levels... compared to high.
