sps corals

This is for all you sick people who have seeked out where all the sps corals are locally in miami/ft laud . Which lfs would you suggest going to to get a nice selection of colorful sps? by the way I'm going to orlando fla near disney, do any of you know any nice lfs there? if you have the address that would be good or at least the correct name of the lfs so i can google it. thanks

I think I qualify to answer. Here in the Miami/Ft/Lauderdale area we do not have any great sps stores like they do in Cali. The best stores for sps in my opinion are Reef Life, Big Als, and Exotic Aquarium. I have a fairly extensive collection of sps and got most of mine trading locally and online. While in Orlando check out Sea in the City. It's not a huge place but nice stuff.

In Miami I would definately check out Exotic Aquarium but also Aquarium Concepts

I agree, Aquarium Concepts does have limited sps selection.

They currently have a nice selection with a number or blue acros, (just don't ask me for the names LOL) and he has most of them on sale also.

As far as local fish stores, definately check out Exotic.. Overpriced but probably one of the few places that has them!

Ditto Reef Life, but close 2nd is Coral Reef Farmers. They're getting a nice selection of premium color acros.

Also ditto Sea in the City. 2nd to none!

There weren't hundreds but from what I saw today at Coral Reef Farms, they had quite a few of nicely colored SPS.

barrier reef and big als usualy have a nice selection altho the past few weeks it seems like no ones been selling anything colorful

i asked the guys at barrier reef and was told that no ones been buying them so they havent reordered.. ( they have some nice frogspawn tho)

and i saw two of the 30000 leauges corals at bigals ( same ones as on drfostsmith) along with a cool red acro with green polyps

anyone see the 1/2 circle tank big als has. i want the bottlebrush acro out of there BAD
they should have a sticky at the top of the fourm with the address of every lfs in south florida
