So, I learned a valuable lesson this past monday! Close your door while having the carpets cleaned because I forgot to and regret it! I guess some of the fumes of the cleaning agents they used got into the air and into my tank cause all the coral were closed up, the fish were hiding, and the tank was cloudy. So, I did a big water change. And here is the update for today: after a few days, the sps corals are openning back up and the fish were fine after I did the wc. All of the polyps acted like nothing ever happened and so did the clams which is weird because clams being so sensitive, I would have thought they would have been affected.The green bottlebrush is still bleaching, it was maricultured, so I think this led to an increased sensitivity to the chemicals. Oh well, you live and you learn, right. It sucks when you learn the hard way though!
