Thanks man. I'm thinking of installing one of those Phosphate reactors made by 2 little fishies or something like that onto my tank so I could be able to feed a little more. Also, the pearlberrys are finally getting their pearl color on their tips. I guess they finally got used to the tank. Only been 4-5 months.

yeah, i bet! I still haven't seen the coco worm for about 3 or 4 weeks now since it dropped its crown. It's weird. It grew so well and then boom its gone.

Here is how fast that thing has grown:

It grew about 5 or 6 inches during that period. The first pic even shows another inches of new growth so thats a total of 6 or 7 inches in 5 to 6 months! That's why it is so weird to see it not coming out. Anyone else experience this? Is it dead?

Jack, do you ever the see the pink that's around the trim of the tube? (you can see it in the first pic) If not, then it might just be dead.

Kasey, I don't see the red rim but I can now see a small new head at the openning of the tube. Ive heard that young ones have two heads or what ever they are called and older ones have only one. Correct me if I'm wrong.

What a change! It has been in my tank for 5-6 months now and finally got its true color.
I think my rose milli is starting to table.

I'm running a Reef Optix 3 pendant with a coralvue 150watt ballast and a phoniex 14k 150 watt hqi bulb.

So, I learned a valuable lesson this past monday! Close your door while having the carpets cleaned because I forgot to and regret it! I guess some of the fumes of the cleaning agents they used got into the air and into my tank cause all the coral were closed up, the fish were hiding, and the tank was cloudy. So, I did a big water change. And here is the update for today: after a few days, the sps corals are openning back up and the fish were fine after I did the wc. All of the polyps acted like nothing ever happened and so did the clams which is weird because clams being so sensitive, I would have thought they would have been affected.The green bottlebrush is still bleaching, it was maricultured, so I think this led to an increased sensitivity to the chemicals. Oh well, you live and you learn, right. It sucks when you learn the hard way though!

Glad to hear it didn't have too much of a lasting effect. Do you have a pic of the whole setup, with the light and everything? This is a great example of how smaller tanks can really turn out great with some good planning and a little TLC - great job!
