SPS frag tank clean up crew

Can ceriths and astrea snail navigat eggcrate to cleanup algae on plugs or rubble rock? Whats best used for this?

Yeah thats kind of a pain, inside those little squares. I used to periodically remove and scrub it. you'll be stoked when it gets encrusted with corraline.

Go the better route, scrap the eggcrate. Some of our local members (and it makes sense), have started using acrylic with drilled holes for plugs instead. The eggcrate is difficult for cleanup crews, creates algae issues, etc. Flat surfaces with a few holes is a lot easier to clean.
