SPS good but bad

I have this Encrusting Hydnophora that has grown onto the back glass of my tank. When I got the frag it was about the size of my thumb, but in the pictures you will see it has gotten a little bigger then that now.

So the good part is that the coral is getting large and it's happy. I don't like to frag my stuff in this tank, so everything has grown free for years, and I no longer have space on rocks for anything, and if I do it's only a few inches here and there on parts of rocks that nothing likes to grow.

The bad is that this thing is getting a little too big for the tank imo, and with how much that has attached to the glass, I really don't know if that is a bad thing or not.

So what do you all think? Should I let it go as is, and allow it to keep taking over? Frag it all that I can and leave an ugly stump in it tank? Or anything else you can think of.

As far as the tank goes, its a Zoanthid and Ricordea tank, so I have pretty low flow, and 150watt bulbs. I love Zoas and Rics and never planned for any SPS, I just happen to have a few in the tank.

I would leave it I still love it Its a LOT bigger than the last time I seen it. I got a little frag off the big one you took to Scott's and its as big as my thumb naw..I would take the big rock out and let it stay growing on the back of the tank that's what im trying to get some GSP to do..
GOOD JOB WITH THE TANK..

Dude that looks so cool growing on the glass like that. I'd leave it and see how much it spreads out. If it grows out too much towards the front you can frag pieces from there to prevent to much shading.

Never seen anything quite like that out of an SPS. I've got an encrusting that is doing well. I you did frag it you could take it to the swap but why?? To Cool!

I guess what I need to do is just get another tank and let that thing become the Hulk.

I have a few frags of it that I have given out, and currently have one left that I might bring to the swap. The only time I frag it is when something I move hits it and knocks a piece off.

I really can't say for sure, but I know if came out of a store in denver that is no longer there. I think the frag tanks at Mr. Aqua came from this store.
