Frick AZ FRAG President Jul 26, 2013 #3 I couldn't tell you if it comes from "Deep" water or not, but I can give you a few guesses on some species to start looking at. Acropora caroliniana http://coral.aims.gov.au/factsheet.jsp?speciesCode=0015 Acropora lokani http://coral.aims.gov.au/factsheet.jsp?speciesCode=0621 Acropora willisae http://coral.aims.gov.au/factsheet.jsp?speciesCode=0080 The second is also too small to say for sure. It could be Acropora millepora, but the tips seem too small. At that size it could equally be A. prostrata also which wil develop longer thinner branches. http://coral.aims.gov.au/factsheet.jsp?speciesCode=0047 http://coral.aims.gov.au/factsheet.jsp?speciesCode=0824 If it grows into a stag it could be A. pulchra. http://coral.aims.gov.au/factsheet.jsp?speciesCode=0057
