Would it be possible to keep SPS corals in a small nano (15 gallons or under) or in a pico?

I would like to try them in a pico, although I am a SW newb so thats a bit far fethced at the moment.

It's all about light and calcium.
If you have the proper lighting you can grow about anything that you want. I feel that the biggest problem with the nano's is consistant water quality and water stability. With small tanks little problems can develop into big problems very quickly.

Go for it. With a smaller tank you have to be a little more diligent about water changes and parameter checking but it can be done and many have done it successfully.

i have a 15 gal sps with mostly montis. i have noticed good growth but topoffs are a pain. i am adding a 20 gal sump(about 15 gals H20) to help steady the system. IF you do decide to do it i would suggest a long tank maybe a 15 or 20 l because nothing will ever be under low light. at least that is my case with t5s. I have seen smaller but a 15 is hard enough. I learned my lessons about top offs the hard way.
