is too much blue plus bad for acros? i have a 4 bulb sunpower with 3 blue plus and 1 purple plus. over a 30breeder tank

Nope. You can run b+ alone and be fine.

I agree, I don't care for all blue plus because to me it does wash out some colors. Especially with a 6 or 8 bulb and all blue plus. But it's all personal preference, I have had tons of friends do it and they love the look. To me it just makes certain colors to alike. Like teals, blues and greens all kinda become a similar look. With a good white bulb thoes colors will become a lot easier to distinguish. Although nutrients come into play just as much as lighting when running blue plus bulbs too.
