Sps mini world tank Questions

I'm going to be buying a bunch of sps frags and will have a sps dominant nano. Was wondering if I should just buy a 150watt halide. I found a guy whos got a used 150 for 125. I already bought a par 38 12x3w and two 12k t5ho 24 watts.

I was going to put the par 38 and t5hos on a so long and have the par38 on half the tank where my corals are going to be.

Is a par 38 par 30 and two th5os enough for sps on a 20 long. Should I just go ahead and buy the MH.

I know this wuestion won't get answered but will a pyhto and zooplankton regiment work? Or do I need this plus a variety food like reef chili or kents foods.

I have only about 4 inches between the surface of the water and where the frags will go. If I don't buy the light I put the bulb very close to the water level to make as much par as I can with the led bulbs . Maybe like 3-4 inches from waterline with par38 and 1-2 inches with par 30.

I know the 150's are no longer in style but I swear by mine. No experience in led though. You will want the 150's a bit higher than 4"

Depending on how nano the tank is you'll have to be careful with the 150. My 29 bc had a 150 on it and it would increase the water temp 3 nearly 4 degrees...

Agree with ^. Temp is the main concern. Is this open top? How will you deal with the heat?

What is the size of the tank? Maybe T-5's are a good alternative
