sps monti help

I can't get monti to grow in my tank at all took a good size piece tried all different areas of the tank no luck with in a week or so brown watch levels keep alk at 8 cal at 460 1480 to 1500 mag any tips have the under 2 Chinese **** boxed witch is same as the tank they came out of would love to get sps but trying to get monti to grow 1st

Yes I tried different flow slow fast had about 5 pieces and all went white here is tank pic

You have to set it in one place with good light and good flow. Don't move it, wait. It will grow if your numbers are correct.

Stop moving it.
