SPS, Pico Tanks, and LED's

So I'm looking to keep SPS in A 5g.

With A LED light.....

After seeing Parishiltons 5.5g AGA, and his low maintenance SPS collection (No dosing, simply Waterchanges) I want to explore his less technology, more biology methods.

So, With the exception of his 20k 150w Halide, and Chiller, Here is my current approach

Fluval Chi 5g
Aquaclear 70 Hang on Back (300gph/60x Turn over rate) Chemipure Elite, Carbon ect.
Visitherm Stealth 25w Heater

And The Evilc66 12.3 LED Picolamp.
(Some of you may have seen it on ************ EcoReef One /nanocustoms)
I'm ready to bite the bullet, and test LED's lighting ability for myself.

After a few phone calls with nanocustoms, some references written by evil, and his par ratings (claiming 250 at 10") I'm under the impression that this will be enough?

I'm really looking for some approval, insight to my set up, and as a first time SPS keeper, some sound advice.

Would 36w LED's in YOUR EXPERIENCE and this (250w PAR Rating :/) be adequate for successfully Growing, and Maintaining SPS?

I want to know why so many posts go unanswered? We have a ton of members? This is at the top of a google search for the same question the OP just asked. Anyone made any progress on this? I do keep tons of sps. My issue is finding a nice LED setup for a 7.5 cube. Ideas??????

I've read up on LEDs, but have no experience with them.

That said, people keep SPS under PAR 38 bulbs which have less LEDs than that light IIRC. I think you'd be fine with it. I'd start with birds nest and montis and work up to acros

I have no doubt that the LEDs will be more than enough to maintain SPS. Water quality is the key though, and is more difficult in a pico. There needs to be minimal swings in alk, calc, sg, ph, etc...
The ac70 will provide strong enough flow, but I think regular turkey basting would help enormously to keep the corals happy.
I think you've already got a good start, but would recommend a trusty ATO, test kits, an supplements as well.
Good luck!
