So I'm having some type of stn. Almost all my acros are doing it starting from the bottom and my montis are fading a losing color getting worse by the day. I check I know I had a temp swing maybe but not even sure
Red sea
Alk 8.4
Cal 450
Phosphate .05
Nitrate none
Mag 1400
Can anyone help. I'm afraid I might loose everything

What's your salinity and how are you checking all your params? I would get some measurable nitrate in the tank also, zero is just too low, or start feeding your corals. Any other changes lately besides temp spike?

Salinity is 25 . I'm thinking maybe my rodi unit. everything has new filters . I'm nothing running carbon now. Should I?

double check your salinity, re-calibrate your measuring device and consider getting or making new calibration fluid. theres a few good threads on here about some of the various fluids on the market for calibrating refractometers as well.
i say this because i chased every parameter in my tank while losing corals slowly over time...so far the only cause i found is high salinity. i too thought it was spot on, but when i re calibrated my refractometer properly, i found it was off and my salinity was not what i thought it was...
WRT the accuracy of test kits, it depends highly on the kits or devices that are used, how clean and calibrated all the vials and tools are...also need to make sure reagents aren't expired. lastly, there are several threads on RC about the accuracy of the red sea test kits.

I would not add carbon right now, wait till you get things stabilized and add it then if you feel you need to. I asked about salinity just for the reason jscarlata speaks to, mine was on according to my test but found out my calibration fluid was off.

Gonna check it again but I have taken it to other people and get the same results. But dosnt hurt to check again
